A little about me

Why I Teach Yoga

When I discovered yoga I realised it was probably the first time I truly learnt to consciously breathe. Big, deep belly breaths that had a profound effect on my stress levels and mental health. I fell in love with the physical movements, as well as the breathwork (pranayama) and ability to let go; to surrender to what is, or isn’t. Life became more of a fluid river than a tidal wave using the tools of yoga on and off the mat, so I’d love to share this healing practice with you.

Teacher Training

In March 2020 I completed my Yoga Teacher Training in Goa, India. I trained specifically in Vinyasa and Ashtanga and completed 200 hours of training. It was a profound month and I gained an immense amount of knowledge, including studies on ancient philosophy, anatomy, injuries, and adjustments from some really incredible teachers and guides. It’s been an honour to pass on my learnings since returning to Northern Ireland. I absolutely love guiding my students in their practice and giving them the tools to flourish in their own unique way.
